This case came to the attention of Miami Ghost Chronicles through a part-time investigator who has worked with MGC before and said she had a family friend who was experiencing unusual events in her home, and the client's main concern was for her elderly mother who had taken a turn for the worse health wise.
Marlene from MGC interviewed the owner of the home, who was a very calm, and down to earth person, but said she could not deny the feelings she kept having that something or someone was affecting her mother's health. Not surprising the events had started to take place after she started renovations in the home and brought her mother to live with her.
Without any mention from the client, psychic impressions provided to her was the presence of her father which had passed away years ago. The client was told that he had never crossed over into an enlightened state and was waiting for her mother to pass so that she could guide him, and also for lack of a better description give a good referral for him so that he wouldn't get punished.
The client confirmed this about her father. She said that even though her parents had divorced many years before his death, he always wanted to maintain dominion over her mother who had never remarried, and that he had been a very difficult, possessive and aggressive person in life. She said it made sense that he was afraid of the consequences of what awaited for him on the other side considering how nasty he had been in life.
A large orb was captured, of course, in her mother's bedroom.
There was also a description given of a spirit who stood in the garden area adjacent to her pool and was waiting for her father's spirit, however since he was enlightened he understood he could not interfere, and was just waiting to guide her father's spirit when he decided to make the move to leave her home. After giving her a description of the spirit she said it sounded just like her paternal uncle. She said it was so funny because just this past Halloween she had been inspired to decorate that exact area with tombstones, something she had never done before.
The client asked to be hypnotized, and during a regression technique in which she was instructed to go into the basement of a building, she later explained that in her childhood while living in an old apartment building in New York, a stranger had tried to accost her sister and herself when they had gone down to the basement of the building.
After discussing her options in blessing and cleansing her home and asking her father's spirit to move on, she was given materials in which she could do the blessing herself which is a very powerful method especially when dealing with family members who are stuck in this plane.
